Born in Aci Catena, Catania’s district, on february the 19th 1961. Florentine by adoption since 1969, she attends Art High School and Fine Arts Academy with specialization in sculpture. Then comparative anthropological studies centered on rite, semiology of mythical text, genetic processes of art and of greek thinking. Her artistic research continues with the composition of narrative artworks and poetry. In her pictorial depiction images are picked from both the sensible world and an invisible reality: things seen and thought; vision of eyes and mind put in the same space-time segment; shapes gathered from a phenomenal reality or from a hellenic-homeric past and, generally, from a repertoire of archetypical figures.
